This 400-year-old chateau with working vineyard provides the best of two worlds: an eighteen hole Par 72 golf course uniquely integrated into the working plum orchards, vineyards, and oak woods surrounding the chateau.

Rejuvenate at Chateau des Vigiers with a round of golf, either 18 holes or the
6-hole academy course. Other activities also
include bicycling, fly fishing, swimming (outdoors), workout in the fitness room, playing croquet, go ballooning (on request), tennis, billiards, horseback riding, yoga instruction (on request), bridge, cooking classes (on request), or enjoy the two gourmet restaurants and sample the chateau’s award winning wines.

The chateau was included in the publication Golf Style International, "The 50 best Resorts in the World."

Conference Facilities
The main conference facilities can accommodate 120 persons in the Chai and up to 40 persons each in three smaller conference rooms.

The chateau’s conference team will be delighted to assist you in your planning and execution of your event. They will also help organize a program of activities for conferee spouses.

Southern France
The region is steeped with history. The chateau staff can arrange private tours of wine tastings in the Bergerac, Monbasillac, Graves , Sauternes, Medoc, Pomerol and the medieval town of Saint-Emilion.

• The chateau guest rooms and suites have been designed and furnished in French country house style. There are 25 rooms in the Chateau, 11 junior suites in the Dependances and 11 Standard rooms in the Dependances, plus lakeside cottages, making a total of 58 four star luxury rooms.
  All rooms have en suite bathrooms, satellite TV (CNN), hairdryers, mini-bar.

• Golf packages are based on room type and length of stay. Buffet breakfast included. (Packages individually quoted).

• Green Fees - Walk on (non-resident) rates vary between seasons from 35-65 Euros per round. Electric golf carts and trolleys are available. Special room/golf packages are also available.

• The Wine
  The chateau owns a 32 hectare vineyard producing in excess of 150,000 bottles annually. They grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Semillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle grapes.
  
• Awards
  The Chateau wines have consistently won awards in France. Their Moelleux won the silver medal at the annual wine show in Paris in 1990 and their Bergerac Sec 1996 won the Gold Medal at the wine show in Bordeaux. The 1995 cuvee Jean Vigiers also won the Gold medal in Bordeaux.
